Ellen works by appointment only and sees people privately
in her comfortable office in West Los Angeles. She provides a warm
and safe environment for people to be able to effectively communicate
and learn. Sessions are confidential.
Sessions are 55 minutes long.
Ellen is a provider for some medical insurance companies. She will
also bill your insurance for 3rd party reimbursement. Please have
your insurance information handy on your first initial visit.

Speaking Engagments
Ellen is available for keynote and public speaking
engagements by appointment. She has spoken at many different events
at Universities, Medical Centers, Elementary schools, High schools,
Food Service Establishments, Parent meetings, Private and Corporate
Businesses and Health Professionals Seminars.
She is eager to educate the public with her beliefs and strategies
of dealing with Eating and Exercise Disorders as well as diet and
nutrition issues, health and wellness.

Self Defense Classes
Ellen has been studying Korean Martial Arts and Sciences
under 8th degree Black Belt and Grandmaster Kami Moghaddam for the
past 9 years. She is going to receive her black belt in Tae Kwon Do,
Hap Ki Do and Kuk Sool martial arts. She is currently working on her
black belt exam and thesis for these arts.
One of Ellen's goals is to utilize her martial arts education to help
others. She helps support women in making positive changes in their
lives, by teaching self-defense to women in need of elevated self
worth, self esteem and self empowerment. These classes also provide
a fun way to get physical exercise and fitness. Studies have also
shown that classes such as Yoga,Tai Chi and Martial arts help to improve
self confidence, stamina and fitness and will assist in helping in
the treatment of overcoming eating disorders and body image issues.
Ellen is available to teach Self Defense classes for women that incorporate
martial arts philosophies, self-protection skills, advice and basic
defense techniques. You do not have to be a trained martial artist
or have experience with martial arts to join her classes. This is
a basic Self Defense/Self Empowerment Class.
